4.2.2 Unpacking and Inspecting the Board
Shipment Inspection
To inspect the shipment, perform the following steps:
1. Verify that you have received all items of your shipment:
 Printed Safety Notes
 Centellis 2x00 User Card-10GE
 Any optional items ordered
2. Check for damage and report any damage or differences to the customer service.
3. Remove the desiccant bag delivered together with the board and dispose of it
according to your country’s legislation.
4.3 Installing the Board
Before starting to install the board, observe the following

Board Damage
Touching the board or electronic components in a non-ESD protected environment
causes component and board damage.
Before touching boards or electronic components, make sure that you are working
in an ESD-safe environment or wear ESD wrist straps.
The board is thoroughly inspected before shipment. If any damage occurred during
transportation or any items are missing, please contact our customer's service
immediately.
