7 PICOSCALE CONTROL GUI
Quadrature output (AquadB)
For each quadrature output a configuration menu is available. It allows the configuration of the
following paramters:
•
Step Size
The step size is entered in picometer (pm). Values between 1 pm and 1 cm are
accepted.
•
Step Frequency
. The drop-down menu allows to change the step frequency of the quadra-
ture interface with preset values ranging from 100kHz up to 20MHz.
The maximum target velocity is calculated by the
PICO
SCALE
according to the configuration of
the AquadB channel and displayed underneath the
Step Frequency
field.
Serial data output (SD)
For each serial data output the configuration menu allows the configuration of the following pa-
rameters:
•
Clock Frequency
defines the data rate of the serial signal in Hz. It can be configured from
100kHz up to 10MHz.
•
Clock Pause Delay
defines a delay between two data words and is counted in clock cycles.
•
Data Idle Priority
defines the idle state of the data lines. It can be either
low
or
high
.
•
Clock Mode
defines the clock and data modes as described in chapter 5.3.1.
