Troubleshooting 

If you experience reception problems after 

installing your SLx booster, please see below:

No picture or sound

 

Is the signal reaching your TV? Check:
-  Everything, including the booster is plugged  

  in and switched on
-  Coaxial connections are correctly made 

  (no braid or foil is touching the inner core

Picture or sound breaking up

 

-  Use the best wideband aerial ideally fitted  

 outdoors
-  Use good quality coax cable, poorly  

  screened cable can pick up noise
- In some cases too much signal can cause  

  signal break-up to you can solve this by  

  fitting an attenuator to the booster input

General Safety Precautions

• To clean first disconnect from your TV and  

  use a lightly dampened soft cloth. Do not  

  use chemical solvents or strong detergents.
• Do not attempt to open the unit, there are  

  no user serviceable parts.
• If anything goes wrong, contact our  

  technical support or consult a qualified  

 engineer.

Additional Installation Advice

If there is no powered USB port available on 

your TV you can use a USB mains adaptor or 

connect to a USB port on a PC or other USB 

enabled device. You may need to use a USB 

extension lead (not supplied) to make the 

connection.
Your SLx Booster incorporates a Class 1 filter 

to reduce 4G and 5G interference and is 

suitable for digital TV signals Ch21-48  

(470-694MHz) however if you need to receive 

TV on Ch60 in your area you should use one 

of our DigiLink SLx Boosters with IR Bypass.
