2.8-10 Base
Base Weldment
•
Ensure there are no visible cracks in

welds or structure and there are no signs
of deformation.
Wheel/Tire Assembly
•
The aerial platform is either equipped with
air tires or foam-filled tires. Tire and/or wheel
failure could result in an aerial platform
tipover. Component damage may also result
if problems are not discovered and repaired
in a timely fashion.

Check all tire treads and sidewalls for cuts,

Steer Cylinder Assembly

Tie Rod
•
Ensure there are no loose or missing

parts, tie rod end studs are locked and
there is no visible damage.
