5.1.5 Connection of DC supplied coil

In order to protect the relays in the house controller, a protective diode must always be mounted in a connected
product if a DC supplied coil such as a relay, contactor, solenoid coil, solenoid valve or similar is activated.

The protective diode is mounted in the terminal box on the connected product.

The area around the protective diode must fit with the current supply voltage and power.

The example below is of a -K1 product with coil.

Transzorb

Product with mounted TransZorb diode. 

The TransZorb diode can be mounted regardless of

the polarity. The TransZorb diode is part of the

supplied resistor set.
