Fastening points for fixing the trunk grille in the side trunk lining (the “panel”
hereinafter.
- 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 -
- Place for drilling a hole in the panel is marked with a small point -arrow- from the manu-
facture.
- Use a power drille to drill holes of 25 mm diameter.
Advice. Drill into the panel only. Correctly drilled hole in the panel
should be homocentric to the hole in the bodywork sheet under the
panel.
- Rivet the riveting nut (B) in the hole in the bodywork sheet under the panel
using the
riveting tool MTX 9-193/A (regular riveting pliers can be used alternatively). Proceed in the
same manner as when riveting the nuts in the holes in the roof sideplate under the roof
panel. See the procedure as described above.
- Screw the spacer (E)
over flat washer to the nut on the screw M8, and tighten carefully.
Proceed in the same manner as when riveting the spacers (C) in the riveted-on nuts under
the roof panel. See the procedure as described above.
In the same way then create a mounting point of the trunk grille on the other
side of the vehicle trunk.

- Insert he trunk grille (A)into the trunk of the vehicle and adjust it to the prepared mounting
points.
Caution. Make sure not to damage the roof panel or the trunk lining.
- Fasten the grille using the plastic-head screws (F, G). Tighten the bolts with hand until they
stop.
Check visually the trunk grille for correct position. Tilt the back-seat rests back
to the standard position. Put the trunk cover into the trunk (Fig. 15).
