Direction-of-Rotation Selector
(Fig . 3)
Your tool is equipped with a direction-of-
rotation selector. The selector is used to
change the direction of rotation.
a. Rotate the direction-of-rotation selector
counterclockwise for forward rotation. Rotate
the direction-of-rotation selector clockwise
for reverse rotation.
b. Make sure that the reversing lever is fully
turned with a click. Check the direction of
rotation before use.
NOTICE: To prevent damage, always allow
the wrench to come to a complete stop before
changing the direction of rotation.
Paddle Switch and Lock-off
Switch
a. To lock the paddle switch, slide the lock-off
switch to the locked position (Fig.4).
b. To unlock the paddle switch, slide the lock-
off switch to the unlocked position (Fig.4).
The paddle switch will not work when the
lock-off switch is in the locked position.
NOTICE: Always lock the paddle switch when
the tool is not in use.
c. The paddle switch delivers higher speed with
increased trigger pressure and lower speed
with decreased trigger pressure.
LED Worklight (Fig .5)
The LED worklight, located on the
bottom front of the wrench, will automatically
turn on with a slight squeeze on the paddle
switch before the tool starts running. This
provides additional light on the surface of
the workpiece for operation in lower-light
conditions.
The LED worklight will turn off approximately
10 seconds after the trigger switch is released.
a. When the tool and/or battery pack becomes
overloaded or too hot, the internal sensors
will turn the tool off and the LED worklight
will flash rapidly. Rest the tool for a while or
place the tool and battery pack separately
under air flow to cool.
b. The LED worklight will flash more slowly to indicate that the battery is at low-battery
capacity; recharge the battery pack.
