How to fill and empty the tank
1. Remove the plug (24) from upper tank (17).
2. Insert the funnel (108) into the tank as shown in illustration A. Use a water cup or the syphon pump
(107) and a bucket to fill the tank. Use the water level gauge on the side of the tank to measure
water level in the tank.
3. Illustration B shows how to empty the tank. Place a bucket next to the device. Use the syphon
pump (107) to pump out the water from the tank into the bucket.
4. Once completed, re-insert plug (24) into the upper tank (17). Wipe away excess water from
the frame.
Note:
• Fill the tank only with tap water. If tap water is not available, use distilled water and add water-
purification tablet. Never use chlorine or chlorine bleach. More information can be found in chapter
“maintenance”
• Water from the tank is not suitable for human or animal consumption. Dispose of the water after
pumping it out from the tank.
• Das Wasser aus dem Tank ist nicht geeignet als Trinkwasser für Menschen oder Tiere. Wenn Sie Was-
ser aus dem Tank gepumpt haben, entsorgen Sie dieses.
Water level
• The water level gauge is located on the side of the tank. The max. filling level is 10. Never overfill
the tank, as this would invalidate the warranty. We recommend filling water up to level 9 only.
• The resistance depends on the amount of water inside the tank. E.g. water level 3 offers a light resis-
tance, while level 9 is a very high resistance.
