Servicing Pump

The maintenance schedule applies to normal operating conditions. If operating the Pump under severe

conditions, such as sustained high load or high temperature operation or unusually wet or dusty conditions

increase maintenance to each time Pump is used.
Safety Precautions When Servicing Your Pump
Make sure the engine is off before you begin any maintenance or repairs to eliminate potential hazards such as:

•  Carbon monoxide poisoning from engine exhaust
•  Burns from hot parts
•  Injury from moving parts

Read instructions before you begin and make sure you have the tools and skills required to perform the tasks.
To reduce the possibility of fire or explosion use caution when working around gasoline. Use only nonflammable

solvent and do not use gasoline to clean parts. Keep flames and sparks away at all times.
