Press the Priming Bulb repeatedly until fuel can be seen in the 

clear plastic fuel return tube.

Turn the Ignition Switch to the ON position.

Hold the carrying handle securely and pull the pull start rope 

lightly until you feel resistance. Then pull briskly in the direction 

of the arrow as shown below.

If the Choke Lever was moved to the CLOSED position to start 

the engine, gradually move it to the OPEN position as the engine 

warms up.

After starting the engine, move the Throttle Lever to the HIGH 

position for priming and check pump output.
Pump output is controlled by adjusting the engine speed. Moving 

the throttle to the HIGH position increases output while the LOW 

position will decrease output.

Emergency Stopping

To stop the engine in an emergency, turn the Ignition Switch to 

the OFF position.

Normal Stopping Procedure

Move the Throttle Lever to the LOW position.

Turn the Ignition Switch to the OFF position.
