turn the iron upside down: there may be not hot water in
the tank.
10. The plug and cord should not be allowed to touch the
hot soleplate. Let the iron cool down completely before
storing it away. Roll the power cord around the iron for
storage.
11. Disconnect the iron from the wall outlet while
fi
lling with
water or when emptying the water after use.
12. To avoid an overloaded circuit, do not operate another
high voltage appliance in the same electric circuit.
13. Never use an extension power cord set that is not approved
by a competent authority.
The cord should be rated for 10A (Europe), cords rated for
less amperage may overheat. The cord should be arranged
in a way that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
14. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface
on which the stand is placed is stable.
15. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there
are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
16. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
17. The iron is for household use only.
