SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS

7.1.1

Removing the EQ 55 from its Installation Site

Use care in removing the EQ 55 from its installed location. Remember that the
cabinet weighs approximately 68 lb. (31 kg). Label and disconnect the cables from
the EQ 55.

7.1.2

Transporting the EQ 55

When transporting the EQ 55, protect the unit from impact, dropping and
extremes of temperature. Use the original shipping carton to protect the EQ 55
while in transit.

Warnings!

Warning:

The EQ 55 contains static sensitive devices.  Do not attempt
any servicing unless adequate anti-static and static
suppressive procedures are followed.

Danger:

The EQ 55 contains high voltage circuitry.  There are no
used serviceable components inside the case.  Refer
servicing to qualified personnel.

Warning:

The EQ 55 transducers are designed to operate in water.
Operation out of water can permanently damage the
transducer elements.  Perform all testing with the
transducers submerged in a volume of water.
