Port for a local (KVM) console
connection
VGA video port (DB-15).
The server also provides a dedicated console port for local KVM connections located on the front of the
enclosure.
Configure the CIMC port for remote management
Before you begin
You have the following:
■ A keyboard, monitor, and mouse.
■ A static IP address dedicated to the Cisco Integrated Management Controller (CIMC).
■ A subnet mask and gateway IP address for the CIMC network.
■ KVM console adapter cable (image below).
