Have the telephone company install two telephone lines, each terminated with an
RJ-31X jack immediately above or as close as possible to the fire alarm control
panel. The connection to the RJ-31X MUST be made via the modular jack in
installations where the CCDACT will share the telephone line with premises
phones or other equipment. Use either of two Simplex harnesses for this
connection: either 2080-9046 (7 feet) or 2080-9047 (14 feet).
Note:
The two telephone line harnesses must take separate paths from the host
FACP to the RJ-31X blocks.
