StorageSync User’s Guide

Exiting StorageSync 

There are several ways to exit StorageSync: 

 

Click the 

Exit

 button on the Welcome window or a secondary window, or click the X in 

the top-right corner of the window. The StorageSync window closes, but the program 
keeps running in the background, where it can be accessed from the System tray. 

 

Click the StorageSync icon in the System tray and click 

Exit

. When the message in Figure 

13 asks whether you are sure you want to exit StorageSync, click 

Yes

 to exit or 

No

 to 

keep the program running in the background. The StorageSync program closes and the 
icon is removed from the System tray. 
 

 

Never exit StorageSync while the program is backing up, restoring, or 
synchronizing data.
