IMPORTANT
Possible errors due to different firmware
Different firmware versions can be incompatible with each other.
1. Use this reader only with SREL3 controllers that were delivered after
09/18 and have firmware 1.1.298 or newer.
2. To update a controller with older firmware, please contact support
(see Help and other information [

4 Connections
NOTE
Readers can only be connected at a later stage if the SREL3 can be
reached via the network.

Connect the reader before programming the SREL3 controller for
the first time.
NOTE
Fault through electromagnetic fields
Signals on the connection cable between reader and controller are in-
fluenced externally by electromagnetic fields. A shielded cable reduces
the influence of disruptive signals from outside.

Use a shielded cable.
