
Tone
The Tone menu allows the user to enable or disable the following acoustic tones
associated with specific activities on the radio: Keypad tone; Talk Permit tone;
Incoming Call tone; Function tone; Warning tone; Low Battery tone; Emergency tone;
and Message tone.
To access the Tone menu, from the home screen, select ‘Settings’ > ‘Radio Settings’ >
‘Tone’.

To enable or disable a specific tone carry out the following:
1. From the Tone menu, use the

and
▲
keys to select the required tone and
press the ‘Enter’ key.
2. On the relevant tone screen, use the
▼
and
▲
keys to select either On or Off as
required and press the ‘OK’ key.

LEDs
The LED menu allows the user to decide whether to enable or disable the following LED
indications associated with activities of the radio: Tx LED; Rx LED; Scan LED; Low
Battery LED; Incoming Call LED; and Call Hang LED.
