and select ‘OK’.
Noise Reduction
The noise reduction setting allows the user to reduce the level of background noise
during communication therefore enhancing voice clarity.
This function can be set via the radio menu or the FPP.
To access the Noise Reduction menu, from the home screen, select ‘Settings’ >
‘Function’ > ‘Noise Reduction’.

The default setting for this feature is off. When this feature is enabled (On) the
microphone gain is reduced and, therefore, during communications the microphone
should be kept closer to the mouth.

This feature is only applicable on some radios. Contact your local Simoco
representative for further information.
Communication Mode
To access the Communication Mode menu, from the home screen, select ‘Settings’ >
‘Function’ > ‘Communication Mode’.
