CAUTION
It is compulsory:
– to use an omnipolar cut-off switch, disconnect
switch, in compliance with EN standards (contact
opening of at least 3 mm)
– if the power cable is to be replaced, that ONLY a
special cable is used with a factory produced re-
wired connector, ordered as a spare part and con-
nected by a professionally qualified person
– to connect the earth wire to an effective earthing
system (*)
– that before any work is done on the boiler, the
mains power is disconnected by setting the main
system switch to "OFF".
(*) Sime Ltd declines all responsible for any injury or damage
to persons, animals,or property as a result of failure to
provide adequate earthing of the appliance.
d
DO NOT
Do not use water pipes for earthing the appliance.
6.13.1 External temperature sensor
The boiler is designed for connection to an external temper-
ature sensor code 8094101, which will automatically regulate
the central heating delivery temperature.
This means that the delivery temperature of the boiler can
vary on the basis of the external temperature depending on
the climatic curve selected from those shown in the diagram
When fitting the sensor on the outside of the building, follow
the instructions provided on the packaging of the product it-
self.

CAUTION
If there is an external sensor, turn the heating knob
t
until the required curve K has been selected with-
in the range
K=0.0 - K=9.0
in order to select the opti-
mal climatic curve for the system and therefore the
delivery temperature based on the external temper-
ature.
