7.2.1
Checks
After the start-up, check that the

boiler performs a lock-out and switches back on. To do this:
– modify the calibration of the heating thermostat
– adjust the room thermostat or the time programmer
– check that the system pump is working
– check that the boiler locks out completely by shifting the sys-
tem’s main switch and the device’s main switch to “off”.
If all the conditions are fulfilled, restart the boiler, bring it to full
power and analyse the combustion by-products.
7.3
Checking the combustion parameters
After running the boiler at full power, to conduct the combustion
checks it is necessary to connect a fume analyser and a fume
thermometer to the withdrawal socket (1), as illustrated in the
figure.

Then measure:
– CO
2
(%)
– CO (ppm) (as per the regulations in force)
– Bacharach index (≤ 0,5)
– the fume temperature
Check that the measured values are very close or equal to the val-
ues of the technical data table. If not, correct the regulations made.

WARNINGS
– In certain countries, the regulations in force require
measuring the combustion performance.
7.4
Shutdown
7.4.1
Temporary shutdown
If the user is away temporarily, for a weekend, short trip etc and
if the outside temperature is at ZERO:
– press the main switch (6) to switch off the boiler

– close the fuel and water circuit shut-off valves.

7.4.2
Shutting down for long periods
If the boiler is to be left unused for a long period, the following
operations need to be carried out:
– press the main switch (6) to switch off the boiler
– close the fuel and water circuit shut-off valves
– set the main system switch to "OFF"
– drain the system if there is the risk of freezing.
