Projection Lens
To set the custom settings for zoom, focus, vertical and/or horizontal shift is necessary
to enter the SETUP menu, Projection Lens or more quickly by pressing the F1 button
on the remote control.

Zoom: see zoom on page 32

Focus: see focus on page 32
•
Vertical Picture offset: vertical compensation for the center shift of image (see note).

Lens Zoom-Focus Calibration: Perform zoom and focus motors calibration
There is the possibility to save the settings for the positions of zoom, focus, vertical
shift corresponding to a video format for each type of signal, for each input of the
projector. (see “Memories” on page 34)
Note:
In the case of off-axis projection, zooming in and out, you get a changing of the
center of the image corresponding to the amount of the off-axis. This changing
amount must be compensate with the vertical and/or horizontal shift.
With some setting positions, the range of lens shift may be restricted, even though
the unit is installed within the specified parameters.
Test Patterns
Enters internal test patterns, that are needed for installation or calibration purposes.

on the remote control or on the projector keypad to cycle through the
test patterns. To exit test patterns press Esc on the remote control or on the projector
keypad.
Note:
OSD menus are not available while test patterns are displayed.
Initial Settings
Resets most projector settings to their factory presets. The settings in the following
list are not reset:

Lamp Hours

User Memories (including Memories Names)

Source List (including Source Names)

Orientation
