WARNING:

rated pressure level.

• Never attempt to remove the grease gun coupler from a grease fitting in a manner other than specified in the

Intended Use
Mini pistol-style grease gun for use in automotive and home applications. Accepts 90cc grease cartridges and can be
connected to grease fittings to allow mess-free lubricating of concealed mechanisms.

Before Use
Fitting the nozzle
Note:
The grease gun comes with a choice of two nozzles, a Flexible Nozzle (14) and a Straight Nozzle (15).
• Screw one of the nozzles into the Vertical Nozzle Connector (8) or the Horizontal Nozzle Connector (10) located on the
Grease Gun Head (7)
• Always have the Nozzle Bung (9) installed into the exposed connector
Loading the Grease Gun
Cartridge loading
WARNING:
ALWAYS wear eye protection, adequate respiratory and hearing protection, as well as suitable gloves,
when performing work on this tool.
WARNING:
The plunger rod assembly is under constant load from the Spring (13). When removing the 10mm Nut (6),
exercise caution to ensure the internal plunger rod assembly is not ejected from the Barrel (4)
1. Unscrew and remove the Grease Gun Head (7) from the Barrel
2. Place a hand over the Rubber Plunger (5) to prevent it being ejected from the Barrel, direct the top of the Barrel away,
and remove the 10mm Nut from the top of the Plunger Rod (2)
Note:
To remove the 10mm nut from the top of the Plunger Rod, it may be necessary to secure the Plunger Rod Handle
(1) with a vice.
3. 3Remove the Rubber Plunger and turn it over, so the Metal Cap (13) is flush with the sides of the Rubber Plunger. The
recessed Metal Cap is now on the underside
ATTENTION :

Avant l’utilisation
Installer le tuyau
Remarque :
Ce pistolet de graissage et fournit avec deux tuyaux : un tuyau flexible (14) et un tuyau droit (15)
• Vissez le côté fileté d’un des tuyaux sur raccord pour tuyau vertical (8) ou horizontal (10) se trouvant sur la tête du
pistolet de graissage (7)
• Veillez à ce que le bouchon du tuyau (9) soit installé sur le raccord exposé.
Charger le pistolet de graissage

ATTENTION :
Portez TOUJOURS des protections oculaires, des protections respiratoires et auditives adaptées ainsi
que des gants adaptés lorsque vous travaillez avec cet outil.
ATTENTION :
La tige du piston est constamment sous la charge du ressort (13). Lorsque vous enlevez l’écrou de 10 mm
(6), faites-le avec précaution afin de vous assurer que la tige du piston n’est pas éjectée du cylindre (4).
1. Dévissez et enlevez la tête du pistolet de graissage (7) du cylindre.
2. Couvrez le piston en caoutchouc (5) avec une main afin d’éviter à celui-ci d’être éjecté du cylindre, pointez le dessus
du cylindre dans une direction sûre, et enlevez l’écrou de 10 mm du dessus de la tige du piston (2).
Remarque :
Pour enlever l’écrou de 10 mm du dessus de la tige du piston, il peut être nécessaire de bloquer la poignée
de la tige du piston (1) à l’aide d’un étau.
3. Enlevez le piston en caoutchouc et retournez-le afin que le bouchon en métal (13) affleure avec les côtés du piston en
caoutchouc. Le bouchon en métal à renfoncement est maintenant sur la face inférieure.
4. Réinstallez le piston en caoutchouc et les bouchons en métal. Les ressorts doivent maintenant se trouver dans le
bouchon en métal à renfoncement.

Grease Gun Safety
WARNING:
The grease cartridge is under pressure from the internal spring mechanism when it is contained within the
barrel. Use caution and do not direct the open end at your person or bystanders when removing either end of the barrel.
WARNING:
Be careful not to leave excess grease on floors, tools and equipment. Excess grease will make surfaces
slippery and potentially dangerous.

Consignes de sécurité relatives à l’utilisation d’un pistolet de graissage
ATTENTION :
Lorsqu’elle est dans le cylindre, la cartouche de graisse est mise sous pression grâce à un mécanisme à
ressort. Faites attention lorsque vous enlevez l’une au l’autre des extrémités du cylindre.
ATTENTION :
Veuillez faire attention de ne pas laisser d’excédent de graisse sur les sols, outils et équipements. Cela rend

4. Refit the Rubber Plunger and Metal Caps. The Spring should now sit in the recessed Metal Cap
5. Fasten down the Rubber Plunger using the 10mm nut
6. Draw back the Plunger Rod Handle (1), and lock into position by twisting until the tabs pull through the Barrel Cap (3)
7. Remove the plastic cap from the grease cartridge and slide it into the Barrel with the open-end inserted first
Note:
When the grease gun is being used for the first time, apply a small layer of grease to the outside surface of the
grease cartridge
8. Remove the metal cap from the top of the grease cartridge
9. See ‘Depressurising the grease gun’ for further instruction
Bulk loading
1. Ensure the Rubber Plunger (5) is installed on the Plunger Rod (2), with the recessed Metal Cap (11) directed upwards
2. Remove the Grease Gun Head (7), and submerge the end of the Barrel (4) in neat grease
3. Pull back the Plunger Rod Handle (1), and lock into position by twisting until the tabs pull through the Barrel Cap (3).
This will fill the Barrel with grease
4. Remove the grease gun assembly from the grease container and reinstall the Grease Gun Head
5. Twist the Plunger Rod Handle to release the lock, and allow it to retract back into the Barrel
6. See ‘Depressurising the grease gun’ for further instruction
Operation
Grease Coupler attachment
1. Attach the Coupler (16) to the free end of the selected nozzle
2. Press the Coupler straight on to the grease fitting until it snaps into place
3. Squeeze the Trigger (12) to apply grease
4. To remove the nozzle from the grease fitting: tilt the nozzle at an angle, twist and pull to ease the coupler off the fitting
Maintenance
Depressurising the grease gun
1. Unscrew/screw the Grease Gun Head (7) a couple of turns, to around half of its thread,
2. Pull the Plunger Rod Handle (1) and push down on the handle until it has fully retracted into the Barrel (4)
3. Fully tighten the Grease Gun Head
4. Pump grease using the Trigger (12), until it is expelled from the nozzle
5. Réinstallez le piston en plastique en vissant l’écrou de 10 mm.
6. Tirez la poignée de la tige du piston (1) vers l’arrière et verrouillez en position en tournant jusqu’à ce que l’ergot
dépasse du bouchon du cylindre (3).
7. Enlevez le capuchon en plastique de la cartouche de grasse et insérez-la dans le cylindre, côté ouvert en premier.
Remarque :
Appliquez une fine couche de graisse sur la surface externe de la cartouche lorsque vous utilisez le pistolet
de graissage pour la première fois.
8. Retirez le capuchon métallique situé sur le dessus de la cartouche de graisse.
9. Allez à la section ‘Dépressuriser le pistolet de graissage’ pour plus d’instructions
Remplir avec de la graisse en vrac
1. Assurez-vous que le piston en caoutchouc (5) est installé sur la tige du piston (2), le bouchon en métal (11) dirigé vers
le haut.
2. Enlevez la tête du pistolet de graissage (6) et plongez l’extrémité du cylindre (4) dans de la graisse.
3. Tirez la poignée de la tige du piston (1) vers l’arrière et verrouillez en position en tournant jusqu’à ce que l’ergot
dépasse du bouchon du cylindre (3). Cela permet d’aspirer la graisse dans le cylindre.
4. Enlevez l’ensemble de la tête du pistolet de graissage de la boîte de graisse et réinstaller la tête du pistolet de
graissage.
5. Tournez la poignée de la tige du piston pour relâcher le verrouillage et laissez-la se rétracter dans le cylindre.

Instructions d’utilisation
Mise en place du raccord de graissage
1. Branchez le raccord (16) sur l’extrémité libre du tuyau sélectionné.
2. Appuyez sur le raccord sur le graisseur jusqu’à ce qu’il se clippe en position.
3. Pressez la gâchette (12) pour appliquer la graisse
4. Pour enlever le tuyau du graisseur : basculez le tuyau, tournez et tirez pour débranchez le raccord du graisseur.
Entretien
Dépressuriser le pistolet de graissage
1. Dévissez/vissez la tête du pistolet de graissage (7) de quelques tours, jusqu’à environ la moitié du filetage
2. Tirez la poignée de la tige du piston (1) et poussez sur la poignée jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit totalement rétractée dans le
cylindre (4)
3. Resserrez à fond la tête du pistolet de graissage
4. Pompez la graisse en utilisant la gâchette (12), jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit expulsée du tuyau.
