Handling and operation
This section provides you with important information on handling and using the
appliance.
Filling the appliance with water
DANGER
Risk of electrocution!
If the appliance tips over when the water tank
is full, the escaping water may
cause an electric shock with other appliances.

Always place the appliance on a stable and level surface.
►
Empty the water tank
if you are not going to use the appliance for a long
period.
CAUTION
Damage to the appliance!

Never operate the appliance without water in the water tank
.
NOTE
►
Ideally, you should fill the appliance with cooled-down, boiled water or distilled
water.
►
Replace the water in the appliance at regular intervals to keep the appliance
clean.

Remove the power plug from the mains socket.
♦
Take hold of the edge of the lid
and pull it upwards off the water tank
.
♦
Remove the tray

from the base unit
