Pull the water tank

out of the appliance and remove the stopper which is
located in the lid of the water tank

(see fig. 5).

Then insert the stopper into the outlet aperture for the water tank (see fig. 6).

Replace the water tank

in the appliance.
♦
Set up the appliance such that the end of the hose is positioned over a
drain. The open end of the hose must be positioned lower than the appli-
ance‘s outlet (i.e. the hose must run downwards).

Switch on the appliance as usual and select a programme.
♦
If you wish to drain into the water tank

again, switch off the appliance,
pull off the hose

or unscrew the EU garden hose adapter

with the garden hose.

Screw the closure back onto the outlet

Remove the stopper from the outlet for the water tank and replace it into the
lid of the water tank
