Before first use

Remove the packaging . Check if all parts are
complete .
¾
During production, some parts are covered with
a thin oil film for their protection . Before first use,
operate the product without any batter on the
maximum browning level for 5 minutes . Doing do,
will make all potential residues evaporate .
¾
Clean the product (see the “Cleaning and care”
section) .
NOTE:
The first few times the product is heated
up, a faint odour may be present . This is harmless
and disappears after a short time . Discard the first
set of waffles .
Operation

Preparation:
Grease the upper and lower
plates 4 with suitable cooking oil .
Turning on/off

Turning the product on: Connect the power plug

to a suitable socket outlet . The red indicator

lights up .
¾
Turning the product off: Disconnect the power
plug from the socket outlet . The red indicator 2
goes off .

NOTE:
During operation, the green indicator

goes on and off from time to time . This indicates

Browning level
Depending on your taste, you can adjust the degree of
browning of the waffles .

Turn the browning level control 3 to the desired
level .

NOTE:
If you are unsure, begin at a medium
browning level . Adjust the browning level for the
next waffles .
Baking waffles
NOTES:
¾
Grease the upper and lower plates 4 with
suitable cooking oil .
¾
Close the product while preheating .
¾
Do not overfill the lower plates 4 with batter .
¾
While the waffles are baking, the green indicator
2 will turn off and on again . This is to regulate
the required operating temperature .
¾
The baking process takes approx . 4 minutes .
¾
Turn the browning level control 3 to the desired
level .
¾
Preheat until the green indicator 2
lights up .
¾
Open the product .
¾
Use a wooden or heat-resistant plastic ladle to
pour batter onto the lower plates 4 . Do not use
metal ladles, as this could damage the non-stick
surface of the plates .
