A screwdriver can be flat ground with the functional and protec-
tive cover

in any position. Insert the slotted screwdriver through
one of the two grinding openings

the face of the screwdriver level and flat.
Direct grindstone grinding
Some blades can be ground by the grindstone

directly without us-
ing the functional and protective cover

. To do so, remove the func-
tional and protective cover

(Fig. F) by turning it until the arrow is at
the top. To reattach the functional and protective cover

, hold it with
the arrow at the top. Attach the functional and protective cover

and turn left or right to lock into place.

Clean the knives, screwdrivers and scissors before use
after sharpening.
