Before use
Check the device for damage before every use.
Place the device on a level, non-slip surface.
Switching the device on
Plug the mains plug into a socket that has been professionally
installed.
Select the desired grinding function 1, 2 or 3 by turning the func-
tional and protective cover

until it locks into place. In e.g.
position 2 „Serrated edge knives“, the respective symbol will point
at the arrow on grinder opening. The functional and protective
cover

will lock into place at the dot following the symbol.
Press and hold the on/off switch

to start the grinding process.

will rotate until the on/off switch

is re-
leased.
Grinding
Note:
Do not insert the blades until the grindstone

is turning.
For even results, repeatedly draw knives and scissors away from
the shaft in even movements, do not return or move back and forth.
To prevent premature grindstone

wear, only grind clean blades
and do not apply pressure.
When grinding knives and scissors, be sure to hold the blade at
an acute angle to the grindstone

(as indicated by the shape of
the opening). The blade may otherwise be damaged.
