4. Press the light pulse button. The skin type sensor first checks how light
your skin is. If this is in a suitable range, the device sends out a flash of
light which is accompanied by a slight popping sound. This is the normal
light pulse emitted by the device. You will usually experience a slight warm
and tingling sensation.
While the device is now charging for the next light pulse, the orange indicator
light “Skin type warning/Light pulse ready”
goes out.
As soon as the indicator light lights up again, the device is ready for the
next light pulse.
If no light pulse is emitted and the indicator light “Skin type warning/
Light pulse ready”
flashes quickly, the area of skin is too dark for safe
treatment. Try a different part of the body. If necessary, contact our
customer care service.
5.
Position the device with the treatment surface on
an immediately adjacent area of skin. The indicator
light “Skin type warning/Light pulse ready”
slowly begins to flash again.
Avoid omissions or overlapping between the areas
of skin that are to be treated!
Tip: Divide the area of skin you wish to treat into an – invisible – grid.
Begin in one “corner” and apply one light pulse after another working
sequentially across the grid.
The treatment surface is designed to leave behind slight pressure marks.
These visible marks will help you to position the device correctly for the
next light pulse.
6. Treat all remaining areas of skin as described in steps 3 to 5.
