Before using for the first time
→ Remove all stickers and tags.
→ Fill the cookware 2/3 with water and
add 2-3 tablespoons of household
vinegar.
→ Boil the vinegar water in the cookware
for 5-10 minutes.
→ Then rinse all parts thoroughly by
hand.
→ Dry the cookware well.
Cooking with your Silargan® cook-
ware - Maintaining the cookware
and hob.
→ Never overheat the cookware. En-
sure that the liquid in the cookware
never evaporates completely.
→ Avoid immersing hot glass lids
in water or placing them on cold
surfaces.
→ Do not remove kitchen gadgets
from the pouring rim.
→ Avoid sliding the cookware back
and forth across glass ceramic
cooking zones. Lift the cookware
instead.
→ Keep the cooking zone clean since
residue between the base of the
cookware and the glass ceramic
hob can scratch the cooking zone.
→ Use suitable hotplate sizes for your
cookware.
→ If using a gas hob:
→ Ensure that the gas flame does not
reach beyond the base of the pot
→ to prevent damaging the handles.
