10.3. Direct Transmission (Synchronous)
For legacy systems that perform packet handling within the host MCU or other baseband chip, it may not be
desirable to use the FIFO. The direct transmission example code bypasses the TX FIFO entirely. The TX
modulation data is applied to an input pin of the chip. Data is not stored in the TX_FIFO for transmission at a later
time. The host MCU sends data to the radio. Data can be synchronized either with the rising or the falling edge of
the clock signal provided by an output pin of the RF chip.
