UTTING THE KEYS
(the bracketed letters refer to chapter 2 WORKING PARTS)
When the DELTA 2000 SA key-cutting machine has been turned on by means of switch (E) it is ready
for cutting:
1) release the carriage by pushing the lever downwards, at the same time moving the carriage lever
(O) to the right (fig. 13).
2) to make a copy of the key, move the carriage sideways from right to left by means of the lever (O).
3) turn off the machine with switch (E) before removing the duplicated key.
4) remove the keys from the jaws.
5) turn on the machine with switch (E) and smooth off the key edges by means of the brush (N).

SING THE ACCESSORIES
The accessories provided with the DELTA 2000 SA to assist key-cutting are:

pins
-
bars.

SE OF THE PINS
The pins are placed between the base of the clamp and the back of the key when the key blanks have
fine stems, for the purpose of ensuring that the key protrudes sufficiently to be cut (fig. 14-C).
Keys which have fine thin stems need two pins (fig. 14-B), the second one to provide a secure grip on
the key.
If the key is too thin to be held securely in the jaw, only one pin should be used (fig. 14-A).
ATTENTION: the pins provided have two different diameters: 1,20 mm and 1,70 mm. It is essential to use pins
with the same diameters for locking both the original and the key blank.
