Mode 2 (factory setting)
Mode 2 is active if one of the limits 5 .. 8 is active. Two limit levels are monitored. The four
states “Normal”, “Pre
-
alarm”, “Main alarm” and “Fault” are coded in binary. The following
table shows how the behavior of the outputs (O1/O2) can be influenced:

The
Fault
parameter on output 1 has no effect here. Limits 5 .. 8 are prioritized. If the
same event should be monitored on different levels on output 1 and 2, then it is abso-
lutely essential that the lower level (pre-alarm) is configured on output 1 and the higher
level (main alarm) is configured on output 2.

Setting the outputs
The outputs can be set as follows:
