Ethernet Connection
The media converter is equipped with an auto-sensing,
auto-negotiating RJ-45 Ethernet port. Simply insert one end
of a Category 3/4/5/5e type twisted pair cable** into the
media converter’s RJ-45 port and the other end into a hub,
switch or computer’s Ethernet card.
**NOTE:
The RJ-45 port accepts both ‘straight-through’ and ‘cross-over’
Ethernet cables without the need to reconfigure the port.
