Initial Startup
If the system has been configured according to the architecture description and all compo-
nents have been correctly connected and linked, the S-DIAS EtherCAT interface module
can be started with an EtherCAT master.
Turn off the voltage supply when you want exchange or replace S-DIAS
modules. Otherwise the modules may be destroyed!
For the following example, TwinCAT was selected as the EtherCat bus to demonstrate
commissioning the S-DIAS Control Module EtherCAT.

Automatic S-DIAS Module Configuration
If the assignment of the S-DIAS slave modules should be changed or modules add-
ed/removed, the option is available to automatically update the new configuration in the
EtherCAT master. This is enabled with a right-click on the Box 1 (EC 121) and the selecting
the option Scan. The S-DIAS EtherCAT control module detects the new configuration of the
module automatically and lists it correctly.
