HARD- W IRE INSTALLATION
Turn off t he appliance complet ely and let cool before servicing. Only a qualified service person
should service and repair t his elect ric appliance.
If it is necessary t o hard w ire t his appliance, a qualified elect rician must remove t he cord connect ion,
and w ire t he appliance direct ly t o t he household w iring.
This appliance must be elect rically connect ed and grounded in accordance w it h local codes, if hard
w ired. In t he absence of local codes, use t he current CSA C22.1 CANADIAN ELECTRICAL CODE in
Canada or t he current ANSI/ NFPA 70 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE in t he Unit ed St at es.

Remove t he cover plat e from t he left side of t he appliance by removing t he t wo screws, as
show n below. Unscrew and remove power cord.
