Wireless Room Sensor Solution
3. If the RSX indicator light does not immediately turn solid yellow (indicating a bind), power cycle the
RSX to place it in binding mode.
4. When the WRS and RSX successfully bind, the RSX’s indicator light is lit in solid yellow for 10 seconds.
5. Disconnect binding cable when the RSX indicator light is solid yellow.
For details on binding when replacing an existing WRS or RSX, see
Chapter 5–Modifying the WRS/RSX
Pair
.
To verify WRS/RSX wireless communication, see
Verifying WRS/RSX Communications
.
If a bound WRS cannot communicate with its RSX, it uses battery power at
approximately twice the normal rate in its attempt to get a response from the RSX.
Keep this in mind if the WRS loses communication with its RSX during normal
operation or is temporarily stored away from the network.
Con

guring WRS/RSX Parameters
The WRS and RSX are con
fi
gured in the factory with the most typical settings. If needed, you can change
con
fi
guration values for both devices. Table 4 lists the parameters for both the WRS and RSX. Some
settings do not apply to the Sensing Only and Sensing with Display models.
