Tracking synchronism (G79)
In tracking synchronism G79, the slave axes are moved to the position of the master axis. G79
is effective block by block.
Programming:
N10 G01 G79 X(Y)1234.000 F1000.00
N20 X(Y)2000.000
N10:
If the Y-axis (slave axis) is not in the same position as the master axis, the Y axis will
be traversed at speed F1000.000 to the position of the master axis. The position
value X(Y)1234.000 only serves for selecting the axis/axes. If the Y-axis is already in
the position of the master axis, N10 will be ignored.
N20:
The synchronous axes X and Z are traversed together to X(Y)2000.000.
Synchronism monitoring must only be switched on when the axes have
been synchronized.
