5.2.3 Preparing the compact installation unit

1. Read the operating instructions.
2. Unpack the compact installation unit.
3. Check the scope of delivery:

Compact installation unit, assembled

– Accessory kit 1:
1 x pressure piece complete with flat seal

1 x pendulum support
③
– Accessory kit 2:
8 x washers

4. When delivered, the height of the top plate is set with an excess length. The excess
length corresponds to the lifting path (see Table Stainless steel compact installation units
(Page 47)).

Take the excess length into account when using dummies.

5. When delivered, a clamping washer is fitted in the base plate to secure the load cell. A
clamping washer is fitted in the top plate to secure the pressure piece.
Remove the tube clamping washers and retain them for later installation.
