Timeout function for the monitoring of the serial connection for
wire breakage. This function must be implemented in the
remote display and is displayed differently depending on the
display model.

Several digital remote displays can be connected via the SIWAREX U isolated TTY
port (20-pin plug connector) (see 4.4.6). The port is unidirectional, i.e. the weight
values are transferred cyclically.
When the display is set via the data record DR5 (SIWATOOL U) or DR72 (I/O
communication), the data to be displayed is output every 100 ms at the TTY port.

10.2 Remote display settings
If a remote display is connected to SIWAREX U, then settings are also to be made
on the remote display . You can find the exact procedure for the parameterization
of remote displays in the remote display documentation.
