The line supply is connected via terminals L1, N and PE (see Figure 5-1 Line connection for
6EP3333-8SB00-0AY0 and 6EP3334-8SB00-0AY0 (Page 33)) or (Figure 5-2 Line
connection for 6EP1336-3BA10 (Page 34)) – and must be implemented according to
IEC 60364 and EN 50178 .
A protective device (miniature circuit breaker or circuit breaker) and a disconnection unit for
the power supply must be provided. A ground-fault circuit interrupter is not permissible
against indirect contact as the only protective measure. This applies for the complete line
supply protected by the ground-fault circuit interrupter.

The protective conductor of the line supply must be connected at the PE terminal.
Other country-specific regulations may have to be observed when installing the device.
