Maintenance intervals
The mechanical condition of the device should be checked regularly. The

carrying out maintenance at least once a year. The maintenance intervals can be
significantly extended with proper maintenance and consideration of the ambient
conditions.

Additional information on the batteries
The batteries of the SIPIX SD are designed and manufactured to the highest
industry standards. However, the operating time or storage time of a battery is
limited. The actual battery life is affected by a number of factors, including heat,
cold, harsh operating environments, and falling from great heights. If a battery is
stored for more than 6 months, its performance may deteriorate permanently. Store
batteries in a dry, cool place. To prevent self-draining, rusting of metal parts, and
electrolyte leakage, remove the batteries from the unit for extended periods of
storage.
Batteries stored for half a year or more should be charged and discharged at least
every 3 months. If electrolyte has leaked, do not touch the affected areas and
dispose of batteries properly. Replace the battery if its operating time has been
significantly reduced.
The service life for all SIPIX SD batteries is six months, regardless of whether the
battery was purchased separately or included with the tablet PC.
