4.1
Preparation
Unpack delivery unit
Please observe the following points when unpacking:
•
It is advisable not to dispose of the original packing material. Keep it in case
you need to transport it again.
•
Keep the enclosed documentation provided with the delivery. They are
required for initial commissioning and are part of the product.
•
Before unpacking, check whether the security seal is intact. Please contact
Technical Support if the seal is broken.
•
Check the packaging and the package contents for visible transport damage.
•
Check the delivery for completeness (see section on "Scope of Delivery").
•
Inform your local Siemens sales point of any transport damage or irregularity
you may notice.
Check delivery unit before operation
Before putting the device into operation, check for the following requirements:
•
Is there no damage to the display, scanner window and housing?
•
Are all covers closed as prescribed?
•
Is the battery correctly inserted and locked?
•
Is the micro SD card specified for the Tablet PC?
•
Is the SIM card inserted correctly?
