Procedure
1. Place the cable tie around the attachment plate of the strain-relief element and secure the
cables as shown in the diagram.
2. Cut off the protruding cable tie length.

Connecting the protective conductor
The protective conductor connection is needed to protect the device. The protective conductor
discharges dangerous currents, tripping an overcurrent protection switch. The protective
conductor also improves the discharge of interference generated by external power cables,
signal cables or cables for I/O devices to ground.
Requirement
● The device has been installed.
● 1 protective conductor, minimum cross section 2.5 mm

● 1 T20 screwdriver
● 1 x M4 cable lug
