Using NAT for the local subnet
–
Enable the option "NAT for local subnet" if the device in the remote subnet is to be
assigned a NAT IP address.
–
Enter the following parameters as well.
Box
Meaning
Virtual subnet IP ad-
dress
NAT IP address at which the device in the remote subnet can be
reached.
Network mask
The network mask of the virtual local subnet.
Local subnet
The IP address of the remote subnet to which the NAT IP address
is assigned.

Click the "Add" button. The table shows the NAT IP address at which the IP address of
the device can be reached.

To change an entry, you must first delete this entry and then create a new one. To
delete, click on in the actions.

Using NAT for local hosts
–
Enable the option "NAT for local hosts" if a specific destination IP address in the
remote subnet needs to be reached via the NAT IP address of the device.

Enter the following parameters as well:

Select the subnet matching the NAT IP address of the device.
Local host
The destination IP address to be reached in the remote subnet.

Click the "Add" button. The table shows the NAT IP address at which the destination
IP address can be reached in the remote network.

To change an entry, you must first delete this entry and then create a new one. To
delete, click on in the actions.

Click the "Continue" button.

Select one or more groups to which the device will be assigned. You will find information
on creating groups in the section "Creating participant groups (Page 75)".

Click the "Continue" button.
10.Enter a password and confirm it. See also the guidelines in the section "Permitted
characters (Page 21)".
11.Click the "Continue" button. Check your settings and click the "Finish" button.
