Design of the thyristor modules

Modules with six arms (B6C connection) are used for the converter. The thyristors in the 

modules of system 2 are arranged in a mirror image to the thyristors in the modules of system 1.

Clamped thyristor stack for number of thyristors connected in series 1, 2 and 4

The clamped thyristor stack comprises x thyristors
