Welcome to the Service Manual for the RUGGEDCOM RSG2100/RSG2100P.
This document describes the various service tasks that can be performed.

DANGER

Before performing any maintenance tasks, make sure all power to the device has

been disconnected and wait approximately two minutes for any remaining energy

to dissipate.

WARNING

Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those speci-

fied herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

personnel. Attempted service by unauthorized personnel shall render all warranties

null and void.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Siemens AG could invalidate

specifications, test results, and agency approvals, and void the user's authority to

operate the equipment.

LED Display

The LED display provides real-time information about the power supply, individual

ports, and the alarm status. At the time of ordering, the display can chosen to be lo-

cated on the front panel or the top of the device. The position of the display is impor-

tant when removing the top cover.
