7.3 Removing and installing hardware

SIMATIC IPC347G

Operating Instructions, 10/2020, A5E50059993-AA

•

The device is open, see important information in "Open the device (Page 44)".

•

You have observed the local regulations relating to the disposal of used batteries.

Procedure

Remove the expansion cards, if necessary.

Remove the battery from socket.

Press the new battery into the socket applying slight pressure.

Close the device.

Reconfigure the BIOS setup.

Note
The configuration data of the device may be deleted when the battery is replaced.

Record the current configuration data in the BIOS setup.
