connector.

4.6.2

Connecting PROFINET IO via the BusAdapter

Requirement

The cables of the BusAdapter are connected.

Required tools

Screwdriver:

• TORX T10

or

• 3.5 mm blade width

Procedure

1. Plug in the BusAdapter BA 2×RJ45 and screw it tight.

2. Insert the RJ45 connector(s) into the PROFINET port on BusAdapter BA 2×RJ45.

3. Secure the PROFINET IO cable to protect the plug from pulling.

Result

PROFINET IO is connected to the device via the BusAdapter BA 2xRJ45.
