Configuration guidelines for modules with PROFINET IO interfaces
Only when all connected nodes are equipped with a SELV/PELV power supply (or have equivalent
protection) is it permitted to operate the modules with PROFINET IO interfaces in LANs (Local
Area Networks).
A data transfer point is prescribed for connection to the WAN (Wide Area Network) that
guarantees this degree of safety.
