The DSR, DCD and DTR pins are connected together internally.
In RS232 DCE mode, ports transmit to DTE devices on pin 2 and receive from DTE on pin 3.
RI is not connected.
Note
Pins 1, 4 and 6 and pins 7 and 8 are connected internally. In RS232 mode, these pins
enter a high impedance state. A DTE that asserts RTS will see CTS asserted. However,
the device will not perform hardware flow control.
